Biofuels have been getting a rough ride in
the media recently. Only last month we saw
headlines from studies arguing that land use
changes may nix any environmnetal
benefits (http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001lz-4Me8xArJixzj-4qnldBSHgvjsWbT0VXc_q6aseoEt-doqnvcebqK6RsdYPDpA4kNOs_F3cPRy9_NCS9IuxKdyRtO05k49r-utLJkn8b_2RWcVTYRhcFZEEd3Q3ZEUJ9wb9hWV_tzQ2SNIOfY3WIwWfep8SHwE3qnJ7L_QSeJqiAFx_RIwXQDU7uyMXiZv), while they have also
been fingered as a contributing factor in the
looming food crisis (see Tummy Rumbles
below). So what's the deal? Are biofuels a
complete red herring, a silver bullet, or
simply a useful tool in our arsenal if used
wisely? WorldChanging go digging with their
series Growing Sustainable
