Rock and Jazz Photog

John "Hoppy" Hopkins was a rock and Jazz photographer who took pictures of the like of the Beatles, Rolling Stones and many jazz greats such as Ornette Coleman and Thelonius Monk. Mostly he worked for Melody Maker in those days. Now his photos are on exhibition at the Photographer's Gallery in London. Here he talks about some of the people and the shoots and also today's trance dance scene.

Music in Public Places um, part whatever it is: Here we have a wander around Covent Garden in London, England and grab some recordings of some of the buskers operating there. We get some reggae, some new-agey lap guitar, some Chinese music and ... we'll have to go back again as some days are more interesting than others.
