Indy rockers will mostly think it borgeois and lacking in spirit while those with more formalist pop tendencies will tend to like it. It's certainly taken the UK popular market in a big way, helped along by deep price cutting at some big supermarkets. So one might say that it's very popular with a non-music audience, but that would be unfair. There are some nice songs here and some nice changes.
