Chris Clark, Empty the Bones of You
LP, Warp Records To my ear this latest from Chris Clark is a rounder sounded more analoguey thing than the last which seemed to flirt with a second cousin of the industrial music family. I say seemed because Chris Clark says that wasn't in his mind at all. He did say that he used to be into Death Metal a while back. Anyway, this is more in the depth of real Warp records territory - softer, more delicate, the sounds more round. And it proceeds more delicately in that there are few stompers here. It is more orchestral overall. If you normally like Warp's output then you will almost certainly like this. If you don't you probably won't (Thunderfinger)
