iPod Video
First the iPods got really small, as in the Nano, and now they've got a bit bigger again with the iPod Video.
There is definitely something cool about watching something on this but we're not so sure we'd want to watch a movie on it, or even a TV program. Some things will just work better than others -- music videos should work quite well and some cartoons like Japanese anime might also go well. In the picture here, a Bleepfest promo is playing and they're only a minute or so long.
What about the movie and TV studios lining up to put things out for this? We don't know as we're not avid TV watchers. But what about a device that has high capacity wi-fi or something similar? Something that can get live sports or newscasts or concerts? That sounds more like it to us. With high bandwidth and web browsing ability you could even use it to monitor webcams... just so long as we can bypass the greedy telcos.
